Health Habits

Top 3 healthy habits you need to implement today for acne prone skin:

1.  Wear sunscreen every day

One of the best things you can do for your skin is to wear sunscreen every day, even if you’re not planning on spending time in the sun. Ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun can damage your skin, causing premature aging and increasing your risk of skin cancer. Look for a sunscreen that has an SPF of 30 or higher and provides broad-spectrum protection, which means it will protect your skin from both UVA and UVB rays.

2.  Don’t pick or pop your pimples

Picking or popping your pimples can cause them to become more inflamed and can also lead to scarring. If you must pick at your skin, try doing so with clean hands and using a light touch. You can also use an acne spot treatment to help reduce the inflammation and redness associated with pimples.

3.  Keep your hands off your face

Your hands are full of bacteria, which can transfer to your face and cause breakouts. Avoid touching your face throughout the day, and make sure to wash your hands regularly. If you must touch your face, make sure to do so with clean hands.
